You come here for the pizza, and Biggie's delivers with 25 thin-and-crispy specialty pies available whole, 11 of those by the whopping slice, along with a deep-dish Grandma's Special pie. The décor can only be described as New York love, with mural homages to the late Brooklyn rapper Biggie Smalls and landmarks such as the Twin Towers and Statue of Liberty prominent inside and out, contributed by local artist Mobarick Abdullah III. Your dine-in options are two highboy tables and two wood-plank booths inside, and two more highboys that hug a thin strip of pavement along the parking lot outside. ![]() The first thing you notice about Biggie's is, well, it's not so big. A native Albanian, Gazmir worked in Italian restaurants in New Jersey and the Bronx before relocating to Jacksonville, where for the past several years he worked his way up at Al's Pizza as an area supervisor before opening Biggie's. Gazmir Broci and his wife, Ada, opened Biggie's Pizza in the space of the former Burrito Gallery Express on Third Street and 13th Avenue N. One little pizza shop in the heart of Jacksonville Beach is banking on that to change.
